In fact, if I were to build another mill, I would literally start from the ground up and focus first on log handling and making a solid foundation for the rest of the saw. Well, it’s a grain mill, so it mills grain. I get about 68% efficiency with this mill. It takes about two minutes to get through about 10 pounds of grain. I made my mill using Bill Rake's pictures on the internet. I did some of my own modifications to the design like to the roller guides, wheels, and acme rod to move the head up and down.
